The manual hydraulic pellet press PP 25 is a compact laboratory instrument with particularly simple and safe operation. Its maximum pressure of 25 tons makes it well suited for the preparation of solid samples for X-ray fluorescence analysis. The pellets produced are of extremely good quality and are characterized by their high degree of stability.

Principle of Operation

The pressure plates and die are located in the inner cylinder. The sample is placed between the polished pressure plates. A hydraulic press is then used to apply the necessary pressure to the sample via the die, which projects slightly from the die housing.
